A1. We provide plan reviews and design recommendations, including regulatory compliance with ADA and Fair Housing.. We do not create plans from the ground up but may be able to refer you to a designer in your area who can help.

A2. We do not currently offer certification for professionals. We do offer a certification for individual residential projects through our sister organization, Better Living Design Institute. To learn more, visit https://www.betterlivingdesign.org/.

A3. Our work covers all 50 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We'll do our best to connect you with the right person for the job. Send us an email with your location and the details of your project or the type of professional you need. While we can't guarantee a perfect match every time, we'll use our resources to find the closest fit available.

A4. Our website has many downloadable publications and links to partners that can help with home assessments, design and product selection. If you are located in North Carolina, we might be able to visit you or review your plans for renovation or a new home.

A5. We can help with interpretation and compliance with the the ADA 2010 Standards as well as with the design requirements form the 1988 Fair Housing Amendments Act for family housing.
